“A vast decentralisation of decision-making is already occurring in many countries; it has the advantage of placing new responsibilities in the hands of local communities…. For the key to future progress will lie less in traditional top-down systems of command and control — and more in a broad, bottom-up spirit of coordination and cooperation.”
Start the First Step
March towards global leadership will involve following steps:
1. Get rid of BEGGING BOWL/QARATANG MENTALITY
2. Develop HUMAN RESOURCES AND ENERGY THROUGH CIVIL SOCIETY:

MOTIVATION for this proposal comes from these extracts:
“I think I am fortunate to be able to talk to you about serious issues and for you to understand where I would like the Jamat to be, Insha-Allah, in the world in 10 years, 15 years, 20 years. That is what is important.”
B. TV interview:
ITV: Showing the weak how to help themselves, not just picking them up.
AK: Charity and help — both. Charity — but not to the extent making them beggars.
ITV: Is that philanthropic?
AK: I think it is philanthropic to help them to become self-sufficient. Afterwards, there is no reason for it to be that way, and on the assumption that society will always have weak elements, those who are givers to that society have to continue to address themselves to the weaker sections of the society.
SELF HELP IS THE BEST HELP.
MANY OF THE VOs/WOs IN OUR REGION HAVE SAVINGS RUNNING INTO A FEW MILLION EACH. RS. 50,000/00 SAFE INVESTMENT IN A PROJECT doable in seven days CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED TO PROVIDE ELECTRICITY FOR 3 TO 4 HOURS EACH DAY AND A SINGLE DISTANT LEARNING/TELEMEDICINE STATION TO A CLUSTER OF TEN HOUSEHOLDS. IDEA DEMONSTRATION PROJECT RUNNING IN KHURUKUSHAL KHAN WO UNDER BRSO SINCE 2013. THIS CAN BE REPLICATED IN EACH OF WO/VO
WITHOUT WAITING FOR EXTERNAL INPUTS.
UPDATE as of 28th March: Present “people Friendly” and “Forward Looking” District administration is actively perusing the multifaceted Solar Energy option for collaborative implementation through the Civil Society (LSO’s in Hunza-Nager) as a model project ultimately for entire GB.
I am therefore suggesting to all aspirants from various political inclinations to re-direct their campaign budgets – coming either from hard earned saving or sponsored – towards this “Knowledge Society” project with almost no risk of loosing your precious life saving.
